LexWidget is built around a simple promise: your words stay yours.

Data we collect

None.

LexWidget does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party trackers in the app.

Where your data lives

• Everything you add — words, definitions, examples, decks — is stored on your device.
• If you are signed into iCloud, your data syncs across your own devices through Apple’s CloudKit in your private iCloud database. We never see it; it is governed by Apple’s iCloud privacy terms.
• There is no LexWidget account, no email sign-up, and no LexWidget server.

Content you import

Text you type, paste, share into the app, or import from Excel/CSV/PDF files is processed entirely on your device to create your entries. Imported files are read locally and are not uploaded anywhere.

In-app purchases

The optional one-time “Pro” purchase is handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive only what Apple provides to validate the purchase; we do not receive your payment details.

Children’s privacy

LexWidget does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
